According to the Spokane Multiple Listing Service (as of this posting) ...there are currently 638 homes under contract in the Spokane Area. In 2007 Spokane's market closed about 610 homes per month. In 2006 Spokane's market closed about 627 homes per month. In 2005, our record year, Spokane's market closed about 677 homes per month. If all goes right we should see about 600 or so homes close next month.
What does that mean. Well, quite simply it means that homes are selling in Spokane. For you buyers: stop waiting. I'm scratching my head as to why more buyers are not taking advantage of incredible buying conditions. When was the last time we had market conditions where buyers have these things going for them. 1. Great Inventory. 2. Reduced Prices. 3. LOW interest rates. In fact, hear what real estate guru
Barbara Corcoran had to say on the Today show March 21st.

For you sellers: Continue to be patient. Spring is right around the corner. As the chart below indicates we see an increase in activity March, April and May! Also, for you sellers, here is a video from January from
Barbara Corcoran on the Today Show. Even though this is from January I think it is a good video for sellers.
