You may not know this but each March the Spokane market starts to shake off the snow and we begin to anticipate the Spring blooms and buds that our four seasons FINALLY bring us.
What is interesting...and I will post a chart that shows it soon...is that we always see an acceleration in activity each March. More listings hitting the market and more buyers buying. So, not only is this a great time to buy and sell because of market conditions, but March is always good. As far as market conditions go - rates are still great, inventory is prime, real estate professionals are ready to serve and the sun is starting to shine! Guess what... I read today on CNN Money that "Now May Be The Best Time To Buy In 4 Years". You know, there may be some truth to that. Who knows where rates may go. In many markets there are lots of undervalued buys. In Spokane, where the cost of living is good, the local economy is stong and prices are stable...real estate remains a great investment! For those of you who are "waiting for rates to go down" you may want to ask "what if they don't?". I'm not trying to scare anyone, but... who knows?? The timing is great.
